Sales are made subject to the following terms. By placing an order you are confirming you agree with them.
Information
We do our best to keep this site up to date but you and rely on the information contained on this website at
your own risk. We do not make any representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or reliability
of information on this website and shall not be bound in any manner by any such information. We reserve the right
to change or discontinue without notice any product or service.
Placing an order
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Jute Bags Direct to purchase the goods detailed
in your order. Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received
but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract for the sale
of our products comes into existence once an order has been accepted and despatched to you. Prices and availability
of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate.
Returns
Sales are based on our detailed description of our bags together with a photo. Goods are sold as described and we
will not accept goods returned because they are not what you expected or because you have changed your mind. Please
inspect your goods on arrival. You must tell us of any damaged or imperfect goods within 24 hours. You must notify
us by emailing customer-service@jutebags.co.uk
with the subject set to "RETURNS" before you return any goods. We will then give you a returns number and further
instructions for return. You must cover the cost of returning the items plus a re-stocking fee of £10 plus VAT. We will
inspect all items to verify your claim. If the return is due to a genuine defect or error, we will either refund your
payment or replace the item. In the latter event your P&P for returning the goods will be reimbursed at Royal Mail rates.
Liability
All warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We shall not be liable to the buyer by reason of any representation, implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty
at common law for loss of profit or for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims
for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website or supply of goods or their use
or resale. Our entire liability shall not exceed the price of the Goods.
We shall not be liable or be deemed to be in breach of any contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to
perform, any of obligations in relation to the Goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Seller's reasonable control.
Payment
We accept secure online payment by the following credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. All transactions
are in pounds sterling inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.
General
These Terms and Conditions constitute the sole record of the agreement between you and us in relation to your purchase.
We may at any time modify any relevant terms and conditions. You shall be responsible for reviewing the current version
each time you visit the website. All sales contracts and undertakings shall be governed by the Laws of England, and the
Buyer agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. This does not affect your statutory rights.
